Where Did It Go???

When I left this morning, to run errands, this is where Cliff was on the trailer.

somewhere in between, he changed hats!

This section will be replaced with new used skin Cliff got at a wrecking yard. But, he is using the rest of the skin when he rebuilds.

I just liked this photo... :o)

Cliff needed help and I had one hand on the skin and one on my camera!

In just 3 hours, this is what I came back to!

The last piece of skin comes down...

Close to nothingness

I guess I had given some advice or something, when Cliff asked me to read this sticker on his service truck...

The inside 2x4 braces hold the ceiling frame work in place

One by one it comes down...

Just the bed is left...

The flooring is all bad and has to go. Cliff cleans away cobwebs and Black Widows...

Our neighbor admires Cliff work!

Here she will rest until next time. It's so hard to believe that this once was a travel trailer. I'm very excited about the next chapter (the rebuilding part)...

Skin Removal

Here she is with just the windows removed...(photo March 08)

Cliff begins to take the skin off (photo 6/08/08 today)

Inside looking out (photo today)

Removed another layer of skin (today)
Look closely...Cliff had to reinforce the other side (inside) with 2X4s
It was swaying a bit... :0)

and removed the wheel well that was just barely hanging on (today)

Frame and Floor

Again, Cliff has gutted the inside, leaving the frame work and floor, when this photo was taken in March.

The photo below shows what it looks like from the inside out...taken today. Cliff has removed some of the floor to see what was underneath. The holes in the floor are from the toilet and shower.

Here is a close up that gives you a better idea of what it looks like...foam insulation underneath the linoleum.

Sometimes it's hard for me to imagine that Cliff can make something fine out of this pile of junk, and then when I see the frame work coming together that he is working on, I'm convinced it's going to be awesomely fabulous!

Welcome!

Welcome to our Roadmaster blog! I suggested to Cliff that we should have a separate blog for his progress on the trailer, so when you flip through the photos you will see the progress easier, rather than trying to see it among the other blogging. I will try to keep this as current as possible, so drop by often!
